This year from March 5-14 you can bring your denim to Gap Stores across the country to receive 30% off your purchase of new jeans.  The COTTON. FROM BLUE TO GREEN.^®drive gives your used and worn out denim “new life” by converting it to UltraTouch™ Natural Cotton Fiber Insulation. The insulation is then provided to communities in need to assist with building efforts. UltraTouch is composed of 85% recycled cotton fibers and is an environmentally safe, non-itch insulation without nasty carcinogenic warnings, formaldehyde or chemical irritants.

Since the start of the COTTON. FROM BLUE TO GREEN.^® denim drive in 2006, the program has received a total of 270,617 pieces of denim and provided enough UltraTouch Natural Cotton Fiber Insulation for 540 houses and more notably, preventing 200 tons of denim from being sent to landfills.
